F8 is the yearly developer conference by Facebook where they show new inventions and features not only interesting for developers.
Because of the launch of the Oculus Rift, Facebook shifted their focus on this device.
On Day 2 of their conference, Facebook has presented a very cool prototype of their idea of being together in VR.
The Touch Controller that will come out in the second half of 2016, played a huge role and is needed to interact with the enviroment.
One feature was the possibiliy to take bubbles out of a bowl and put in somebodys face, this bubble contains a “Street-View” like picture and transforms the world arround the users into this picture. In this enviroment you can then point at things using the touch controller.
We think it is very innovative and can imagine how immersiv this must be for the users.
